New! In-App Damage Check

You're ready to hit the road...but first, snap a few photos of your Gig using our new In-App Damage Check. It's the fastest way to document damage and cleanliness issues. Start your ride with the peace of mind that you are protected from potential fees.

Here are the details:

  • After you press "Unlock & Begin" to start your trip with us, our new damage check pop-up screen will appear with two parts of the vehicle to choose from — Exterior and Interior.
  • Under the "Exterior" option, you can select — Damaged or Scratch/Dent. With the "Interior" option, your options are — Dirty or Damaged. 
  • After selecting the type of issue, press the blue button to take a photo. Snap a picture from your phone, add any notes and hit save.
  • If damage occurred during rental, there is a button to slide and note the location, time and details of the incident. 
  • Once you've captured all damage and/or cleanliness issues, hit submit to send us your report. This damage check process will repeat when you press "Lock & End" to complete your trip.
