Escape on a Winter Gig-Away!

With winter officially here, it's a great time to break from your regular schedule and head out on a Gig-away! 🚙 😊 Grab a Gig and take a few days to check out some other parts of California and Washington with incredible scenery.

California Destinations

Napa
Get your nature fix at Alston Park, which covers 157 acres in the rolling hills of northwest Napa with stunning views. Feeling more like an indoor activity? Check out the 40,000 square foot Oxbow Public Market for a mix of local food vendors, artisan cafes, and an organic produce outlet for local farms.

Monterey
A must stop is the Monterey Bay Aquarium and its array of incredible marine life on the banks of the Pacific Ocean. Once done there, you can stroll through the fabled Cannery Row for historic buildings, delicious restaurants, delightful boutiques, and more. 

San Luis Obispo
Head south down the coast for a gem among the historic Spanish California missions, Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa, founded in 1772. Another spot worth checking out in the heart of San Luis Obispo is Bishop's Peak, a volcanic plug offering an excellent hike and panoramic views over the city.

Washington Destinations

Richland
Get your nature fix at Howard Amon Park, a gem on the Columbia River with access to the paved Riverfront Trail that gives stunning views. Feeling more like an indoor activity? History lovers will like the REACH Museum for its interactive  story of the Tri-Cities through time.

Kennewick
Make your way to the GESA Carousel of Dreams, a restored 108-year-old hand-carved wooden carousel that is open to the public. You can also visit the 450-acre Columbia Park, where the tallest freestanding granite structure in the United State stands at 40 feet in height in the Veterans Memorial.

Wenatchee
Stroll through the Pybus Public Market for a variety of local artisans and the Wenatchee Valley Farmers Market on Saturdays. More excellent views of the Columbia River are available at Riverfront Park, which is popular with bicyclists for its access to the 22-mile Apple Capital Loop Trail.
