Prepaid Rentals at special rates
You can get discounted rates on Gig rentals of 24 hours or longer by paying for them up front. The amount you save depends on the length of your rental and on your market. Note: Gig Rates temporarily will incur a fuel surcharge of 2%. We anticipate these rate adjustments to be temporary, and we continue to evaluate the need for this surcharge on a frequent basis.How it works
Using our Prepaid Rentals is easy!- Select your Gig: Select the Gig you want to rent (it will be your dedicated car and you won’t be able to switch) from the main screen. Click on “Prepay and Save” instead of “Pay as You Go” to start your Prepaid Rental booking process.
- Select the number of days you want to rent this car for: Click “Pay and Reserve” to prepay for your rental. You can prepay for Gig rentals of 24 hours to seven days. An active rental screen will pop up with the time and date you’ll return the car. Please note: Once you prepay, you can’t cancel your booking or be refunded if you end your trip early.
- Using Your Rental: You can simply drive around as you normally would. 250 miles per day are included in the rental price. You will be charged $0.45 per mile for each day that you go over 250 miles.
- Extending your rental: Need your Gig longer than you expected? If you are in the HomeZone, you can start a new Prepaid Rental right through the app. If you are outside of the HomeZone, call Member Support at (800) 464-0889 and they will start a new Prepaid Rental for you.
- Ending Your Rental: Make sure you are in the HomeZone to end your Prepaid Rental before your rental time is up. If you exceed the prepaid time, you will be charged pay-as-you-go rates.

- You can rent the car for any given day, up to seven days.
