Tulip Garden
More than 80,000 tulips will descend on Union Square in honor of International Women's Day. Even better, these beautiful flowers will be free to take home. Take a Gig to pick a bunch of tulips for a special woman in your life or for yourself!

China Dolls — A Very Special Grateful Dead Night for Women's History Month
Ashkenaz has had a long tradition of weekly Grateful Dead Nights dating back to the late 1990s. The March 10 gathering will honor Women's History Month, with special guests including Sunshine, Becker, Elliot Peck, Matt Hartle, Jen Rund, Anna Elva, and more!

Take a short walk along the edge of the bay to learn how Sylvia McLaughlin, Kay Kerr, and Esther Gulick formed Save the Bay. Also discover the importance of Elsie Roemer, the namesake of the bird sanctuary on site. Meet at the observation platform near Broadway in Alameda.

Women-owned businesses are coming together to host fellow women-owned brands for a special one day only pop-up event. Shop local and support from a unique group of emerging and establish women-owned brands in the the community.

International Women's Day: Stories of Redefining Motherhood

"Inspired by Women Composers" Ann Reynolds Trio
This concert is based on the 2021 recording that received the Earshot Golden Ear Award for Best NW Jazz Recording of 2021. The Ann Reynolds Trio will play compositions honoring women composers, and provide a brief historical introduction into those composers.
